This is a classic case of, "you get what you pay for"
We always stay at this hotel. Our home away from home. Staff very friendly. Great rates. Love the pool and hot tub. Guest laundry room terrific!
Adult bed bugs in room .. Hotel asked me not to identify which room it was…this was Horrific... we checked the mattress before we stay anywhere and sure enough they were crawling all over box spring! Awful! Many visible adult size bed bugs!! Stay away! Manager assured me that the problem was being addressed… they confirm the bedbugs were found in this room… Identified the problem and said they are going to take the necessary actions to a eradicate this problem… Truly hope that they do! Bedbugs are a very costly problem that Unknown people will unfortunately have to face…there are truly no excuses for hotels to have such a problem… If they have a weekly pest-control contract they can stop the problem before they ever get this bad…
One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We used our Choice Rewards points and were able to get a suite with a Jacuzzi right in our room by our bed! Super clean room, fabulous hot breakfast, excellent service. Saw other regular rooms and they looked as clean and well taken care of as our suite. If there was a six star rating, this hotel would definitely earn it!
I'm pretty sure we didn't have bed bugs, although we did do a thorough check.
The stay here was peaceful. Me and the family went to Delaware for a family gathering and house hunting and this location was perfect for both events and the casino is right across the road. Enjoyed myself.
The lobby area was nice but the room was lacking. There was a stain on the comforter and the shower head looked like it had spent some time in the ocean. The breakfast egg patties had hair on them, which were promptly "thrown away" when brought to the attention of a staff member. (He just took them to the back, didn't see them land in the trash) The juice machine didn't have juice, and was instead spitting out water with a hint of juice.
